The theme of the congress is Rehabilitation and Environment. The International Classification of Functioning, Disability and Health (ICF) provides us with a unified language to describe the domains of ICF from the perspective of the body, the individual and society. It also lists environmental factors that interact with the individual and influence the extent of the person’s functioning. Many studies have been carried out to examine various aspects of this interaction but there is still much to be learned.
The primary goal of the Congress is to present research findings and provide an update in the field of rehabilitation and environmental factors, secondly, to provide a possibility for specialists working in multiprofessional rehabilitation teams – physicians, therapists, medical nurses, psychologists, social workers, pedagogues and architects, specialists in territory planning, interior designers, builders, engineers and others – to exchange information, opinions and ideas.
